Anannas Group

Privacy Policy

How we handle information when you use our website and mobile services.

Last updated:

1. Who we are

Anannas Group, based in the United Arab Emirates, provides this website and the Fixit, My-Seria, and Freelancer mobile services. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you contact us or use our services. The information involved depends on the app and features you use. Additional notices presented in an app should be read together with this policy.

2. Information we process

Our website contact form collects your name, email address, phone number, subject, message, and submission time. Contact submissions are stored using Microsoft Azure Blob Storage so we can handle your enquiry.

When you use account, booking, or marketplace features in our apps, information may include account and contact details, profiles, service requests, booking details, and customer or provider messages. Images or documents you choose to upload for a service or verification feature are processed for that feature. Avoid submitting sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request.

Website and app infrastructure may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser or device information, request times, and error logs to deliver services, diagnose problems, and prevent misuse.

3. Permissions and location

Where an app offers location, camera, photo, or notification features, it requests the relevant device permission before accessing protected information. Location supplied for a service request supports that request, such as identifying a service address or nearby providers. Camera and photo access support uploads you choose to make. You can manage permissions in your device settings; disabling a permission may limit the related feature.

4. How we use information

  • Respond to enquiries and provide support.
  • Operate accounts, arrange services, and connect customers with providers.
  • Send communications about requests, bookings, and account activity.
  • Maintain reliability, investigate errors, and prevent fraud or misuse.
  • Meet legal obligations and resolve complaints or disputes.

5. Sharing information

Information needed to fulfil a service request may be shared with the customer or provider involved, including relevant contact details, the service address, and request details. Providers supporting hosting, storage, communications, and other service features may process information for those purposes. Our website uses Microsoft Azure for contact storage.

We may disclose information when required by law or where necessary to protect users, investigate misuse, or establish or defend legal claims. Relevant information may be transferred as part of a business reorganisation or transfer, subject to applicable privacy obligations.

6. Cookies and external services

Our website uses a cookie to remember your language preference and form security mechanisms to protect submissions. Fonts, styles, and scripts are loaded from external services, including Google Fonts and content delivery networks. Your browser connects to these services, which may receive technical information such as your IP address. External websites linked from our site have their own privacy policies.

7. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the relevant service, respond to enquiries, maintain necessary records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Retention depends on the information and its purpose. Information no longer needed is subject to deletion or anonymisation under applicable obligations.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect information, including access controls. No storage or transmission method can guarantee complete security. Hosting and service providers may process information outside your country, subject to applicable data protection requirements.

8. Your choices and deletion requests

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or raise a privacy concern. To request deletion of a Fixit, My-Seria, or Freelancer account and associated personal data, email hello@anannasgroup.com with the subject “Account and data deletion request”, the app name, and the email address or phone number associated with your account. Do not send your password.

We may ask for information needed to verify ownership. After verification, we will process your request and explain any information retained for legal, security, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution reasons. You can also withdraw device permissions through your device settings.

9. Children's privacy

Our services are intended for people able to enter into the relevant service agreements. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorisation, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as our services change. The date above identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through the relevant service where required.

For privacy questions or requests, contact Anannas Group at hello@anannasgroup.com, Dubai / Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
